In November of 2006, Randy Huth, feeling the need for an online entertainment source, franchised North Carolina based Lazyday.com to Nashville, TN. The nightlife website soon became a hit with partygoers and the need for more partners brought former professional baseball player Nick Hiter to the group. After two years, over 100,000 party pictures, hundreds of clients, 10 bar crawls, one divorce, and extreme growth, Hiter and Huth decided to take the next step and added Steven Shelton to the mix. In the Spring of 2008 the three formed 14 Stamps Management Group , an all-encompassing hospitality consulting group. The group quickly secured a corporate sponsorship with Anheuser Busch and positioned itself for major growth by adding a new company called GoneCity.com . Officially launching January 1st of 2010, GoneCity.com has quickly become Nashville’s #1 source for nightlife with over 200,000 picture views in its first month alone. In addition to GoneCity.com, 14 Stamps has launched Bar Crawl Nashville, to continue the success of the Lazyday Bar Crawls, and Happy Hour Nashville, to host Happy Hour functions and parties for social groups, corporate sponsors, alumni groups and more.
To add to its list of ventures, 14 Stamps Management Group acquired The Varsity Grille Sports Bar in Nashville, TN in January 2010… In March 2010, 14 Stamps transitioned The Varsity Grille into its newest concept, The Frayed Knot. The Frayed Knot is “knot” your typical sports bar… It is lunch, it is dinner, it is happy hour, and it is late night all rolled into one. With a 15ft. Big Screen, The Frayed Knot is the perfect place to catch the big game while munching on delicious pizza or dance the night away with a deejay rocking the nightlife. Hopefully we don’t offend too many people along the way, but get ready for one heck of a party.
14 Stamps Management Group, now with over 35 years of combined experience in the hospitality industry, is looking to grow outside of Nashville.
